The Fixers

Eleven take the field. Two of them want to lose.

How it works

  1. Enter a name, then join a game or open your own. Whoever opens a game starts the match, and bots fill the empty places up to eleven.
  2. Two of the eleven are secretly Fixers, and they know each other. Everyone else is honest.
  3. The batting side chases a target between 50 and 100 in six overs.
  4. On your over, pick a line, a length and how hard to attack. When the ball comes to you, go for the catch, play safe or let it go, with a few seconds to decide. Everyone sees what happened. Nobody sees what you chose.
  5. From the second over, the side talks it over in the dressing room and everyone names two teammates. The two with the most votes leave the field, and every gap they leave costs runs.

Cricket wins

  • Five wickets fall
  • Both Fixers are voted off
  • An honest player is the last one standing

The Fixers win

  • The batters reach the target while a Fixer is still on the field
  • A Fixer is the last one standing

How many players do you need?

One is enough. Bots take every empty place, and they bowl, field, vote and even argue. Up to eleven people can play together.

Can a dropped catch be an accident?

Yes. Honest catches go down one time in five, and the scorecard reads the same either way. Roles and every real choice are revealed at the end.
